A few things owners ask.
Do I need special coffee?
No. A visible pattern inside a finished cup is what matters. Try coffee grounds, cappuccino foam or drink traces. A clean, pattern-free cup gives the guest less to explore.
Is this a personal subscription?
Enterprise sponsors readings for your venue’s guests. Your own personal readings and other app features are paid for separately.
What does the guest need?
An iPhone running iOS 18 or later, an internet connection and CoffeeTells. The printed QR opens the app; if it is not installed, the guest can get it from the App Store.
Will I have to print a new QR every month?
No. Your code stays the same on renewal. If the subscription expires, readings pause and resume after renewal. Manually reissuing the code invalidates the old code and link.
How do invitations work?
An active subscription lets you message guests who used your venue’s reading in the last 365 days. Messages appear in app notifications, and phone pushes require the guest’s system permission. Campaigns are limited to one every 7 days.
Will this guarantee more returning guests?
No fixed return rate is promised. CoffeeTells gives you an extra guest experience and a way to invite guests back. Measure repeat visits against your own baseline to see what works for your venue.
